PRAYER FOR ALL NINE DAYS

By the sign of the Holy † Cross, from our † enemies free us †, Our Lord God. In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Act of Contrition

My Lord Jesus Christ, God and true man; Creator, Father and my Redeemer; for You being who You are: infinite goodness, and because I love You above all things, it weighs on me deeply having offended You; it also weighs on me because you can punish me with the pains of Hell. Assisted by Your Divine Grace, I firmly propose to sin no more, to confess and to fulfill the penitence imposed on me, and to separate myself from all occasions to offend You. I offer You my life, works and labors in satisfaction of all my sins; and, I trust in your infinite goodness and mercy to forgive me by the merits of your Most Precious Blood, Passion and Death, and that You impart on me the grace so as to mend myself and to persevere in Your Holy Service until the end of my life. Amen.

THIRD DAY
O Virgin of Lourdes and my Mother, life and hope of the orphans, anchor of the shipwrecked, health of the sick and consolation of those who agonize and are dying! O my Mother! After God, you are and will be my only hope in temptations and dangers, in life and in the hour of my death. Do not leave me, O Mary! Amen.


Pray Three Hail Marys and one Glory. Then ask for the grace you wish to obtain with this Novena. End with the final prayer, below.


FINAL PRAYER

Under your refuge we find shelter, Holy Mother of God; do not despise our supplications in times of need, but rather, free us from all dangers, O always Glorious and Blessed Virgin!

V. Plead for us, O Virgin of Lourdes!
R. So that we may be worthy of the promises of Jesus Christ.

O eternal and compassionate God! Grant us the grace to live holy and Christian lives, venerating the Most Holy Virgin of Lourdes, so that we may be worthy of her intercession in life and in the hour of our death. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.


THIRD DAY
O Virgin of Lourdes and my Mother, life and hope of the orphans, anchor of the shipwrecked, health of the sick and consolation of those who agonize and are dying! O my Mother!
