Jesus said: "My Kingdom is not of this world," but it is in the world. He
came to establish a Kingdom of TRUTH for our intellect; a Kingdom of
JUSTICE and HOLINESS for our will; a Kingdom of LOVE and PEACE for our
heart. If we follow Him, He will lead us into His Eternal Kingdom.*
Psalm 71 - Give to the king thy judgment, O God: and to the king’ s son thy justice:
To judge thy people with justice, and thy poor with judgment.
Let the mountains receive peace for the people: and the hills
justice. He shall judge the poor of the people, and he shall
save the children of the poor: and he shall humble the oppressor.
And he shall continue with the sun, and before the moon, throughout
He shall come down like rain upon the fleece; and as showers
falling gently upon the earth. In his days shall justice spring up,
and abundance of peace, till the moon be taken away. And he shall
rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
And all kings of the earth shall adore him: all nations shall serve him.
For he shall deliver the poor from the mighty: and the needy that had no
helper. He shall spare the poor and needy: and he shall save the souls of
the poor. He shall redeem their souls from usuries and iniquity: and their
names shall be honourable in his sight.
Let his name be blessed for evermore: his name continueth before the sun.
And in him shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed: all nations shall
magnify him. Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone doth wonderful
things. And blessed be the name of his majesty for ever: and the whole earth
shall be filled with his majesty.
Psalm 71 - (Fragments)
At that time Pilate said to Jesus:
"Are You the King of the Jews?" Jesus answered: "Do you say this of yourself,
or have others told you of Me?" Pilate answered: "Am I a Jew? Your own peope
and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have you done?"
Jesus answered: "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this
world, My followers would certainly have fought that I should not be delivered
to the Jews. But as it is, My kingdom is not from here." Pilate therefore said
to him, "You are then a King?" Jesus answered: "You say it; I am a King. This is
why I was born, and why I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth.
Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."
Psalm 28: 10, 11
Prayer for the Solemn Feast of
the Sovereignty of our Lord Jesus
Christ, Supreme King
Almighty and eternal God, Who in
Thy beloved Son, the King of the
whole world, hast willed to restore
all things, mercifully grant that all
the kindreds of the nations that are
divided by the wound of sin, may be
brought under the sweet yoke of His
rule. Who liveth and reigneth with
God the Father in the unity of the
Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen
Prayer to the Miraculous Infant Jesus of Prague
O Miraculous Infant Jesus and
King, prostrate before Thy
Sacred Image, we beseech
Thee to cast a merciful
look on our troubled hearts.
Let Thy tender Heart, so
inclined to pity, be softened
at our prayers, and grant us
that grace which we ardently
implore Thee (mention your request).
Take from us the affliction and despair,
the trials and misfortunes with which we
are laden. For the sake of Thy sacred Infancy
hear our prayers and send us consolation and
aid that we may praise Thee with the Father
and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen
